Description
The RCWL-0516 Radar Sensor detects moving objects using a 3–5.8 GHz microwave Doppler radar. Unlike PIR sensors, it can detect motion through walls and thin materials. The module outputs a digital HIGH signal when motion is detected and includes an onboard potentiometer to adjust sensitivity. It operates with low power and is compatible with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi, making it suitable for security alarms, automatic lighting, robotics, and home automation projects.
