The DS18B20 is a reliable and easy-to-use digital temperature sensor with ±0.5°C accuracy over the -10°C to +85°C range. Using the 1-Wire protocol, multiple sensors can be connected to a single microcontroller pin, simplifying wiring and reducing hardware complexity.
