Description
The Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor is a non-corrosive, capacitive-based sensor that detects soil moisture by measuring changes in capacitance caused by water content. Unlike resistive sensors, it is highly durable and resistant to rust or corrosion, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use. It provides an analog voltage proportional to soil moisture and can also output a digital HIGH/LOW signal via an onboard comparator with adjustable threshold. The sensor is easy to interface with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi for automated watering systems, smart gardening, and environmental monitoring projects.
