Description
The TIP120 is an NPN Darlington transistor designed for switching and amplifying high-current loads. With a collector current rating of up to 5A and high gain, it allows low-power logic signals (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi) to control motors, bulbs, relays, solenoids, and other inductive loads.
Its built-in Darlington pair provides high current gain, making it excellent for interfacing microcontrollers with heavier loads. The TIP120 is widely used in robotics, automation, DIY controllers, and power electronics.
