Description

The IR Flame Sensor is designed to detect flames or strong infrared light sources within a specific wavelength range (typically 760 nm to 1100 nm). It uses an IR photodiode and comparator circuit to provide a digital output when a flame is detected. The onboard potentiometer allows adjustment of sensitivity. The sensor is easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, or STM32 for fire alarm systems, robotic flame-following projects, and industrial safety monitoring.
