Description
The MQ-2 Gas Sensor is a popular smoke and combustible gas detector widely used in DIY electronics, home safety alarms, and industrial monitoring systems.
It features a sensitive MQ-series gas-sensing material capable of detecting a wide range of flammable gases, including LPG, propane, methane, hydrogen, and smoke particles.
The module provides both analog and digital outputs, allowing easy integration with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. Its onboard potentiometer allows threshold adjustment for digital triggering, and the built-in LED indicates when gas concentration exceeds the set value.
With fast response and long life, the MQ-2 is ideal for fire detection, gas monitoring, and IoT safety applications.
